The ESSEC Hedge Fund is a student-led, multi-asset fund run to institutional standards of governance, research discipline, and committee decisions.
Who we are
The ESSEC Hedge Fund (EHF) is a student-led investment fund founded at ESSEC Business School's Asia-Pacific campus in Singapore and now present on the Paris and Rabat campuses. The fund runs a structured model portfolio designed to mirror institutional standards of governance, research discipline, and committee-based decision-making.
EHF is composed of students with a strong academic and professional interest in asset management, financial markets, and macroeconomics. Through a formal investment process, members engage in macroeconomic analysis, security research, and portfolio construction within a benchmark-relative framework.
We apply academic finance to real markets across equities, commodities, macro, and quantitative strategies, in a process modelled on real-world alternative asset managers and aimed at the markets the rest of the industry overlooks.
